WIAW – Fish, Food Trucks & Fall

Well hello, Wednesday. I’m not one to wish time away, but I do love when the weekend is in sight. πŸ™‚

I’m super excited for the Texas State Fair (and Lucy Hale concert) and Pecan Street Festival this weekend. Yay for activities! But for now, it’s time for my favorite day in the blog world… What I Ate Wednesday.

As always, thanks to Jenn (Peas and Crayons) for hosting this linkup.Β Here we go!

Breakfasts

Monday’s last day of summer oats. Egg white oats with kiwi, peaches, hemp seeds, a dollop of Greek yogurt, and dry cereal.

Lunches/Dinners

Snacks/Treats

dunkin donuts pumpkin munchkin means its officially fall

A pumpkin munchkin from Dunkin means it’s officially fall. ; )

dulce de leche greek yogurt from HEB

HEB steppin’ up their Greek yogurt game! Normally I’m not a fan of flavored Greek yogurt, but the low sugar content of this flavor intrigued me. It’s sweetened with stevia. Pretty good!

And last but not least…

bananarchy food truck austin texas

BANANARCHYΒ food truck! This picture is bad, but this banana was gooooood. πŸ™‚ This was a frozen banana with peanut butter topping, walnuts, cinnamon, and toffee. It was delicious and decadent, but a bit too much (next time, just a half!).

Wooo baby, I’m full just thinking about all this! It was a pretty good food week, I must say.

Your Turn-

  • What’s your most memorable food truck experience?
  • Favorite Greek yogurt flavor/toppings?
  • Best thing you ate this week?

  1. OMG!!! I just died after seeing that frozen banana! πŸ˜‰ I guess I need to frequent food trucks more often..I am missing big!
I like plain greek yoghurts because choosing your toppings is just the best. I love fresh and dried fruits, nut butters, granola, candied nuts…basically everything!

    • Trust me, I died after eating it! hahaha. Me too! I’m all about plain and adding your own toppings. You can make it whatever you’re in the mood for, and control the sugar content! πŸ™‚ Have a great day, Elsie!
