What I Ate Wednesday: New Apartment Edition

Hey there! The craziness of moving is finally settling down, thank goodness. However, I’m the type to constantly be running around doing something. For example, I woke up early this morning and decided to enjoy the sunrise from my balcony in lieu of a workout. I made myself a cup of coffee and took my overnight oats outside with the intention of relaxing…. but was popping up and down every two seconds for one reason or another. Oops! I’m bad at relaxing =)

Unfortunately I’ve also been pretty bad at snapping pics of my food before I devour it … but I’m definitely going to start back up again!

Regardless, here are some highlights from this week so far.

IMG_2359Total classic. Peanut butter, banana and cinnamon on a whole wheat English muffin.

IMG_2461Awesome new Trader Joe’s find — Crunchy Salted Peanut Butter with Flax and Chia Seeds. So delicious and only $2.99, whaaaat?!


I was pretty proud of this one. Homemade pizza! Trader Joe’s wheat crust, Trader Joe’s marinara (rookie mistake- I bought pasta-esque sauce instead of pizza sauce .. tastes the same, just messier!), Trader Joe’s basil chicken sausage, low fat mozzarella, arugala and balsamic glaze. So delish, and tons of leftovers.

Also, check out this snack situation. I think my subconscious is trying to tell me something…
